Bag Filter System

The bag filter system is a kind of dry filter system which is applied to collect fine and dry non-fibrous dust. Made with filter cloth or non-textile felt, the filter bag can filter dusty gas based on the filtration effect of fibrous fabrics. When the dusty gas enters the bag filter, the dust of a large particle size and a great weight will precipitate due to gravity and fall into the ash bucket. The gas containing fine dust will be purified by going through the filter where the dust will be blocked.

Advantages

(1) Featuring high efficiency of dust removal, generally above 99%, this system can control the dust concentration in the gas at the filter outlet under tens of milligrams per cubic meter and show higher classification efficiency to the fine dust of a submicron particle size. (2) This system is applicable to handling a wide range of air volume, from several cubic meters per minute to tens of thousands of cubic meters per minute, so it can be used to remove the dust in the exhaust gas of industrial furnaces and reduce the emission of air pollutants. (3) It is easy to operate and maintain due to its simple structure. (4) It is cheaper than the electrical dust catcher compared to its same high efficiency of dust removal. (5) Where the heat-resistant filter materials such as fiberglass, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or P84 are applied, the system can be operated in the temperature as high as above 200℃. (6) It is insensitive to characteristics of dust and is therefore free from the influence of dust and electric resistance.

Application

The system is widely used, including the flue gas treatment and dust removal system of iron plants, steel plants, ferroalloy plants, refractory plants, foundries and power plants, the flue gas filtration of waste incinerators, coal fired boilers and fluidized-bed boilers, asphalt concrete mixing and production of building materials, cement, ceramics, lime and plaster etc. Besides, it is applicable to filtration of metallurgical off-gas of aluminum electrolysis, lead, tin, zinc, copper and other rare metals, recycling of fine materials, liquid-solid separation and recycling of fine materials in chemical engineering, coke, carbon black, dye, pharmacy and plastic sectors, and dust control, purification and collection in mining, grain processing, flour processing, electronics and wood processing sectors.
